Matthew Stone is 13 years old and has Down Sydnrome but has also been fighting Leukemia for the last two and a half years. He is nearing the end of his treatment schedule through many peaks and valleys. The stretch run involves infusions of Intravenous Immunoglobulin or IVIG. These infusions are costly and at this point in his care his families medical insurance benefits are maxed. The infusions will occur monthly through December and cost around $1,000 each.
